Level I Tribal Basics & Dance Fundamentals.
Wednesday in Bend from 7:00-8:00pm

Designed for dancers new to ATS, and for all students looking to refine their skills.  Each class begins with drills and belly dance conditioning exercises  followed by an in-depth approach to learning the essential slow and fast movements that are key to dancing ATS.  This is a progressive course that helps you build a basic repertoire in the 6-week series.

From day-one you'll learn the concept of group improv and how to connect with fellow dancers as you learn the art of dancing  American Tribal Style.

Dress requirement:
Level I clothes are pretty easy.  New to Tribal Style? Just wear comfy, stretchy pants (like yoga pants), and a tank top, sports bra or yoga top.  Large scarf or triangle piece of fabric that can be tied around the hips (we call this a hip shawl or hip scarf) is helpful but not required.

Wednesday - Level II - Beyond Basics

Designed for students with a solid foundation in ATS Level I dance movements. - By teacher approval only. (If you have Tribal dance training check with me before starting this class. )  In Level II, we take an in-depth approach to expanding on the Tribal Basics family of movements that are taught in Level I.

Level II class focuses on leading and following formations,  mastering cues and transitions,  finger cymbals and introduces students to using props (swords and baskets).  Bring finger cymbals/zils to class.
